Kevin Spacey has had one interesting week. Earlier this week, Spacey released a cryptic YouTube video titled, “Let Me Be Frank“. In the video, Spacey seemingly uses his House of Cards persona to respond to allegations of sexual assault made against him. In the video, Spacey can be found in a kitchen resembling that of his Frank Underwood character as he says, “Conclusions can be so deceiving.” He later adds, “You wouldn’t believe the worst without evidence. You wouldn’t rush to judgment without facts. Would you?”
Not long after releasing the video, Cape and Islands District Attorney, Michael O’Keefe told reporters that Spacey would be arraigned on January 7th on charges of indecent assault and battery. The victim’s mother stated that she is “pleased that the case is moving forward in the judicial system.” The victim’s mother has also stated, “The victim, my son, was a star-struck, straight, 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator.”
As the arraignment nears, things only continue to get worse for Spacey’s defense. Today, news broke that there is allegedly video evidence of Spacey sexually assaulting an eighteen year old. According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Spacey “allegedly unzipped the accuser’s pants and assaulted him, he told police, according to the criminal complaint.”
The actor will be arraigned on January 7th at the Nantucket District Court.
