Kendrick Lamar shared some great advice Dr. Dre gave him recently. While both of Compton’s biggest names in rap have worked together before on some music, it was some wise words that stood with the rapper.
Recently, during an interview at Forbes’ Under 30 summit in Boston, Lamar spoke on the advice Dre gave him. The DAMN. rapper quoted the former N.W.A. member saying, “You gotta continue to work, you’re gonna make mistakes along the way, but you have to ask questions.”
Lamar said that even with all the success now, he still feels as though he still needs to ask questions. “That’s something I’m learning now. I don’t know it all. I have to ask questions.”
