Do not expect the Philadelphia 76ers to win a whole lot of anything this season. In fact, be ready for them to be a team at the bottom of the NBA standings and once again, compete for a lottery pick.
There are bright spots on the 76ers roster though. The two big men, Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor, will be getting the brunt of the attention on this Sixers team. Okafor will be the offensive dominant big man and Noel will be the defensive, athletic rim protector that many teams need.
One thing the Sixers are also hopeful for is their talented wings and backcourt. JaKarr Sampson and Robert Covington are young, skilled wing players and in the backcourt, they’re beginning the season with Isaiah Canaan slated to be the starting point guard along with newly acquired Nik Stauskas.
But there are two other skilled guard expected to come back from ACL injuries very soon. Tony Wroten and newly signed Kendall Marshall missed a majority of their 2014-15 season due to torn ACL’s and now they may be getting back to the court in a month.

Why not give everyone you want a shot?
Marshall is possibly on his last leg in the NBA and with the 76ers signing him to a multi-year deal with some weird guarantees in it, he could be expendable. Hopefully the former UNC Tarheels product can make a career resurgance with the 76ers and their other young skilled players.
For Wroten, the judgement is still out there. He can score and shoot but his defense is suspect at times. Not to mention that Pierre Jackson is also on the rise in the organization. Could the Sixers keep four point guards? Possibly but it doesn’t seem likely.
But then again, who knows with the 76ers?
