The cast of Power Book II: Ghost has gotten a bit bigger. As reported by Deadline, Lethal Weapon series star Keesha Sharp will join the Starz hit series as it enters its third season. According to the report, Sharp will play the role of Professor Harper Bonet, “a progressive intellectual and boho beauty.”
Sharp previously starred in the serial adaptation of Lethal Weapon and the final season Empire. She has also appeared in The Good Fight, American Crime Story and Black Lightning.
Sharp joins a star-studded cast that includes Mary J. Blige, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Larenz Tate, Paige Hurd, Alix Lapri and several others. Series creator Courtney A. Kemp, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Mark Canton, Chris Selak and Geary McLeod will produce the show’s thrid season.
The show is currently in its second season and will likely being production of season three at the end of the year.
