2017 is honestly gearing up to be one of the best years for Jordan Brand and it is only January. Aside from the Spring 2017 releases and the other 2017 releases expected to drop, what else could we possibly need? Well information has hit the internet, courtesy of @J23app, that we can expect a KAWS x Air Jordan collaboration.
Shortly there after KAWS, the New York City-based artist, took to their instagram to confirm the collaboration. Yes the first ever KAWS x Air Jordan collaboration is going to take place and it appears Spring 2017 is the timeframe.
This is all a lot to take in considering the news of the Atmos x Air Jordan collaboration that is expected to take place. Jordan Brand is certainly upping the stakes with collaborations and that makes one wonder what else is on the list for Jumpman.
As of right now there are some pictures that have leaked. Giving us what appears to be a first look, the KAWS x Air Jordan collaboration has a Glow in the dark outsole with their signature X. The images come by way of a Nike Talk-er who also suggest the collaboration will drop March 2017. All of this is not confirmed and neither are the additional pictures which look like the Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Royalty’.
