Kanye West is no stranger to the world of politics. Within the last five years, he’s emerged as a public supporter of former reality show host Donald Trump and launched his own presidential campaign. Now, he’s delving into the world of international policy.
Multiple outlets have reported that the Chicago native is traveling overseas in hopes of meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. While there, he is expected to lead a Sunday Service concert, spend time with Aras Agalarov and work alongside musician EMIN.
The details of West’s trip are still being ironed out. According to Billboard, West’s strategic advisor Ameer Sudan and attorney Scott Balber are working as the liaisons between the Grammy winner and Agalarov. However, Balber nor Sudan have not commented on the matter publicly.
If reports are correct, it appears that this will not be a one time trip for West. Sudan has told Billboard that Russia may become a “second home” for West.
“He will be spending a lot of time out there,” Sudan said, according to Billboard.
At this time, it appears that the trip is being finalized for either the spring or the summer of 2022.
