Yeezy Season!
News circulating around Kanye West has been a snow ball effect. First we received confirmation that Ye would be performing at the Grammy’s not once but twice. He will be performing with Rihanna as she does her record ‘FourFiveSeconds’ featuring himself and Paul McCartney. Then Yeezy will be taking the stage to perform brand new material, debuting a song none of us have heard.
Is that at all? Not in the slightest bit. Following up with that news, adidas unveiled a brand new sneaker reservation app, ‘adidas Confirmed’. The app is exclusive to NYC and allows buyers the chance to reserve sneakers exclusive to the three stripes without the hassle of lines, bots or crazy resellers.
This news alone had sparked wild fire as further news of the long awaited adidas Yeezi is finally going to happen. Confirmation of the news was then issued, according to Complex, people very close to Kanye West camp have confirmed the Instagram post you will see below from Rahmon Ehlen of Renaissance menswear.
Mr. West is said to be debuting this adidas collaboration during New York fashion week on February 12, 2015.
Also it is reported that adidas Vice President of Brand activation, Simon Atkins has confirmed the app is in fact geared towards Kanye West sneaker release. (via: Miss Info)
Now the post has then since been removed so that leaves speculation if the cat was let out the bag prematurely or not. Who knows. But we will keep you guys updated accordingly as time continues to go on.
