It appears that Kanye West is in fact preparing to release his long-awaited album, Donda, in the near future. As the suspected release date of July 24 nears, the Chicago native has put together a pair of listening sessions to tease the project. On July 18, he reportedly brought together a crew of industry insiders, musicians and family members for a listening session in Las Vegas. On Thursday, he is reportedly preparing to host yet another listening session at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. However, he may not be stopping there.
The hype for Kanye West’s new album continues to grow. In the midst of the night, Kanye West’s close collaborator, Consequence, shared a photo that hinted at potential Rolling Loud performance from Kanye West. On a blank piece of paper, the accomplished lyricist drew a number of pyramids along with the words, “Kanye West,” “Donda,” “Rolling Loud” and “July 25.”
Rolling Loud has not yet confirmed Kanye West’s attendance. However, it wouldn’t be out of the realm for the festival to add a few unexpected twists. Most recently, the Miami event added WWE Smackdown to its lineup. Why not add Kanye West? Then again, he could also put together his own event in Miami that is separate from the official Rolling Loud lineup. Simply put, the GRAMMY winner has journalists, musicians and fans all wondering what is going on. Soon, we will all find out together
