When the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Retro first hit the net it was being dubbed ‘Quilted Blue‘ and believed to be some kind of luxury sneaker for Jordan Brands 30th anniversary. Well it looks like we were completely wrong. The last we spoke on this shoe actually was when we got a look at the insole which indicated that these were in fact a Don C collaboration with Jordan Brand.
Thus bringing us we are today.
Today we have detailed pictures of the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Retro which are by far the best pictures we have seen since the first look. Not only do we have detailed pictures of the sneakers we have pictures of the packaging.
Lets start with the sneaker box. Not your most recent Jordan Retro box with the speckles on it or the typical Air Jordan box with the wings logo on it that the 1’s would come packaged in. This box for the Just Don 2’s comes in a red Jordan box with a gold wings logo, reminiscent (not the same though) of the ‘YOTR’ AJ7 sneaker box.
Next we see the sneakers comes with a Jordan wings logo hang tag and a special gold pin. Also inside of the sneaker box the shoes come in a dust bag with once again the Jordan wings logo on it.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro itself is made of premium Italian leather and that is made known as on the insole, the Just Don stamp has ‘BEAVERTON. ITALY. CHICAGO’ on it along with JUST DON and the Jumpman logo. Italy is given praise here simple for being where the Air Jordan 2 was actually made in.
With all this information gathered off pictures alone, one has to ask, ‘When is the release date and what is the retail price?’ Well the rumored release date for the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Retro is January 31, 2015 and the retail price is rumored anywhere from $400-$500.
Also expect for these to be limited, yes I know add more hype to the sneakers.
