The Tennessee Titans have announced that Julio Jones and AJ Brown will not play in the Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets. This is a blow to an offense that looked like it was finally beginning to figure things out. The passing game is sure to struggle on Sunday without their number one and number two options. Julio Jones and AJ Brown are most of the passing offense for the Titans and quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

With Julio Jones and AJ Brown listed as out for the game, the workload will shift even more to running back Derrick Henry. With the top two wide receivers out the next men up on the depth chart are wide receivers Chester Rogers and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. They will be involved in the game plan, but expect Derrick Henry to be used in heavy doses on the ground and in the air. He is currently tied with Julio Jones on the team for the most receptions this season.

The New York Jets are currently sitting at 0-3 and have little hope of winning many games this year. This could end up being their best shot at winning a game this season. Julio Jones and AJ Brown are incredibly important to this team’s offense. That being said stopping Derrick Henry is harder said than done. We here at Def Pen Sports hope to see both wide recievers back in Week 5.
