Another star is set to join the cast of Grown-ish’s second season. When the second half of the show’s sophomore season returns, viewers can expect to see Jordyn Woods join the cast that includes Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson and more. Not to mention, Black-ish‘s Marcus Scribner is also expected to join the second half of the show’s second season. Woods took to social media to make the move public.
Jordyn Woods posted a quick set grab of her appearance on the show. She wrote, “I’ve been waiting to share this with you guys but I am so excited to guest star on this season of Grown-ish.” She added, “This was the first role I’ve ever booked and I was nervous at first, but I got past that and had the best time.” Woods ended by writing, “Take risks and stay consistent to your journey. You never know what the world has to offer.”
Prior to the mid-season break, Zoey, played by Shahidi, was cut off financially by her father, played by Anthony Anderson. When the show returns, we’ll all get to see how she bounces back. Grown-ish will return with its newest cast member on June 5 on Freeform.
