Jeremy Strong has just set up his next major project. Alongside Oscar-winning writer Tobias Lindholm, Strong is putting the finishing touches on a new series called The Best Of Us. Influenced by first-hand accounts, the series will follow the lives of first responders, teachers, students and other New Yorkers who endured the fallout of 9/11.
Strong has signed on to executive produce and star in the series. Meanwhile, Lindholm will executive produce and direct the project. Rounding out the team, veteran journalist Chris Smith will serve as a consulting producer.
“We are fortunate to have Jeremy as a partner with Tobias on The Best of Us; and we look forward to their thoughtful and human depiction of those heroes that serve on the front lines for the greater good,” The Best Of Us producer Stacy Snider told The Hollywood Reporter.
There is no reported home or premiere date for the show as of yet.
