Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki will host a new show on MSNBC called Inside with Jen Psaki. Beginning March 19, the show will air at 12 p.m. on Sundays via the cable network. During each episode, Psaki will “will break down and make sense of the most complex public policy discussions happening in the nation’s capital from the debt ceiling to the political campaign trail to the war in Ukraine and more.”
“I’m very conscious of the fact that people know who I am because I was standing behind a podium speaking on behalf of Joe Biden,” Psaki told the New York Times when promoting her new show.
I am not going to gratuitously attack him, nor am I going to gratuitously applaud him. If he deserves applause, I will applaud him. If he deserves critique, I will critique him.”
Psaki is the latest member of the NBC Universal team to transition from the Biden administration to television. Previously, Symone Sanders made the jump from Washington, D.C. to Peacock with her new show, Symone. Elsewhere, former Rep. Mondaire Jones transitioned from Capitol Hill to the Big Apple after losing his bid for re-election in November.
