Jazmine Sullivan is not only celebrating the success of her latest project, Heaux Tales, but she is also preparing to perform on the biggest stage in sports. Sullivan has announced that she will be singing the national anthem at Super Bowl LV. However, she will not be performing alone. Instead, she will be joined by country singer Eric Church. The two will join a long list of celebrated artists who have performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl that includes Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and of course, the late Whitney Houston.
Joining Sullivan and Church, H.E.R has also been added to the Super Bowl LV lineup. Sullivan’s Heaux Tales collaborator will perform “America, The Beautiful” before the NFL’s biggest game. She will join Yolanda Adams, Leslie Odom Jr. and several other successful artists in performing this anthem.
Sullivan, Church and H.E.R will be backed by the stylings of The Weeknd. Earlier this year, the NFL announced that The Weeknd would headline this year’s Super Bowl halftime performance. His set will be produced by Roc Nation and Jesse Collins. The Toronto superstar has not yet announced who will join him as a special guest during his performance.
