LSU Tigers starting quarterback Jayden Daniels has announced that he will return to the team next season. The starting quarterback transferred the last offseason from the Arizona State Sun Devils and won the starting job before the start of the season. He led the team to a season that many did not expect including an overtime win over the Alabama Crimson Tide. Daniels was hurt in the team’s matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2022 SEC Championship. He joins star wide receiver Kayshon Boutte who also announced his return for the 2023 college football season.
