YouTube sensation Jake Paul earned a major victory over Nate Robinson on tonight’s co-feature. Robinson got off to a fast start by pushing forward from the opening bell. Paul was able to step back and pick his punches. In doing so, the Cleveland native was able to knock down Robinson late in the first native. Moving into the second round, Paul was able to keep the pressure on Robinson before knocking him down not once, but twice in the round.
With a second fight under his belt, Paul may look towards a third fight with another celebrity opponent. He won his first fight in Miami, Florida against Ali Eson Gib back in January and his second fight showed his improvement as a skilled fighter. As Paul noted, he may look to take a step up in competition against UFC Champion Conor McGregor.
Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. will now take to the ring to cap the night’s events. Tyson enters the ring as tonight’s favorite, but Roy Jones Jr. is one of the greatest to ever lace a pair of gloves. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the night.
