Few producers have accomplished more over the last few years than JAE5. Since 2019, he’s worked with J Hus, Burna Boy, Dave, Koffee, Headie One, Skepta, J Balvin, Mark Ronson and NSG. While he may not get the recognition he deserves in the U.S., he has cemented himself as one of the most successful producers in the game today. As a result, he’s managed to pave a way forward for his solo career. One year after delivering his first solo single, the successful producer has returned with a new record to conclude the summer.
JAE5 has teamed up with Dave and BNXN to deliver a new single called “Propeller.” As the upbeat production and light video suggest, the record is all about highlighting the things that they had to do in their past lives and celebrating their current success.
“Been a long time since I learned to put rhymes together/Spin ’round your block, I’m a big propeller/Came with my team, I came with my breddahs/I swear, I’m comin’ from Gbagada,” JAE5 sings.
“‘Cause I’m a big propeller/Lean, clean, like sweet vanilla/Remember when I had sleep for dinner/I’ma live and live to tell the story/Everyday I give God the glory/It’s been a long time,” Dave adds.
Jae5’s last single had no problem making its way up the charts and “Propeller” will likely enjoy the same success. Check out the new track and visual below.
