Jade Cargill may return to the ring sooner than some may expect. According to a report from Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated, the WWE is reportedly under the impression Cargill is “actively training” and will make her way back before WrestleMania 41 in April. However, the severity of the injury Cargill sustained is unclear.
Cargill has been sidelined since November when a mysterious attacker flattened her before the Survivor Series kicked off in November. Since then, Naomi has stepped up and taken Cargill’s spot alongside Bianca Belair as one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Cargill appears destined for a showdown with her mysterious attacker this spring as she continues her transition from AEW to WWE. She first made the jump in 2024 during the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Then, she teamed up with Naomi Bianca Belair to defeat Damage CTRL at WrestleMania XL at Lincoln Financial Field in 2024.
