As a rising talent in today’s league, Brooklyn Nets guard Isaiah Whitehead will have plenty of opportunities ahead of him on and off the court. Whitehead started the process recently when the second-year man decided a sports agency to sign with: Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
Whitehead revealed the news via his Twitter account:
BLESSINGS on BLESSINGS. Excited to be part of the @RocNation family. ???@RocNationSports pic.twitter.com/qcuJBybJTp

There were likely a plethora of agencies Isaiah Whitehead could’ve joined if he desired but opting for Roc Nation was easily the splashiest move he could’ve made. Donning Brooklyn on his chest nearly every night and Jay-Z, Brooklyn’s own, being the founder of Roc Nation, Whitehead’s decision to join the agency was probably a rather easy one once the opportunity presented itself.
Whitehead will become the second NBA player joining Roc Nation this season, as Cleveland Cavaliers forward Jeff Green also joined the star-studded roster earlier this season. Along with Whitehead and Green, Roc Nation also represents NBA players Kevin Durant, Willie Cauley-Stein, Justise Winslow, Rudy Gay, and fellow Nets guards Jeremy Lin and Caris LeVert.
With so many big names already in the fold, expect Roc Nation’s ever-expanding empire to continue doing so.
