Head Coach Tony Bennett and the Virginia Cavaliers have landed the commitment of 2022 top 55 recruit and top ten power forward Isaac Traudt. The Nebraska power forward committed to the Cavaliers over the Creighton Bluejays, Nebraska Cornhuskers, North Carolina Tar Heels, and Michigan State Spartans. Traudt is a top four-star recruit in the 2022 recruiting class and should be a multi-year prospect for the Cavaliers. He is best known as a recruit for his offensive potential and the hope is he brings a spark to the Virginia program when he arrives on campus.

Sound on for why I believe this is shaping up to be @UVAMensHoops best class in recent years. pic.twitter.com/ZzGB3jcYle

Isaac Traudt had the following to say about his commitment to the University of Virginia: “There’s a lot of reasons but it came down to my relationship with coach Bennett and the staff. I feel really good about the culture and believe I fit in really well.” He will be joining four-star combo guard Isaac McKneely and four-star small forward Leon Bond at Virginia in 2022. Traudt is the clear headliner of the 2022 Virginia Cavaliers’ recruiting class thus far.

Isaac Traudt is a talented power forward and could very well be the guy with the Virginia Cavaliers in a few years. Tony Bennett is all about pulling the best out of his guys and helping them get to the NBA if that is a possibility for them.
