Oklahoma State Cowboys senior guard Isaac Likekele has announced he will transfer to the Ohio State Buckeyes. He will use his additional year of college eligibility granted to all players due to how the Coronavirus impacted the 2020-21 college basketball season. Likekele was an all-purpose guard that played four seasons with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Ohio State pushed aggressively for a transfer guard after losing some names to the transfer portal.
Early prediction on Ohio State’s 22-23 starting five:

In his senior season with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Isaac Likekele averaged 7.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. His assists per game led the team while his rebounds per game finished second on the team. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 43.7 percent and a three-point percentage of just 18.2 percent. In his junior year, he shot well from the three-point line, but that was the abnormality in his college career thus far. Likekele did a little bit of everything well at Oklahoma State and Ohio State could use some production at each aspect of the court. He should start immediately for the team and provide an impact.
Isaac Likekele thanks the #OKState fans and Stillwater on his Instagram story tonight.
Also mentions in the bottom left corner that he hopes he will be welcomed back as a coach when he’s finished playing.
Ice would be a good coach. Talked about that with him in March. pic.twitter.com/8fRD4hAAZX

Isaac Likekele makes the jump from the Big 12 to the Big Ten this offseason and will likely fit immediately into the conference. Ohio State lost talent to the transfer portal and the 2022 NBA Draft, but this is a great way to reload with experience.
