So apparently the first initial ‘Marvin The Martian’ Air Jordan 7 that many assumed was inspired by the Looney Tunes character really wasn’t what we thought it was and in fact was the ‘Barcelona Night’ 7s. That was made evident by Nike and Jordan Brand prior to their release but now it appears that this new colorway that has popped up could be the inspired colorway we were looking for.
While the release of the highly anticipated ‘Hare’ 7s is tomorrow, I am not surprised this new colorway has appeared with the possibilities of being the official ‘Marvin The Martians’. Sporting an all black upper, red accents throughout with Purple and that neon green detailing to finish things off, an argument can definitely be made for its inspiration.
As no confirmation on nickname has been made known, I wouldn’t put it past Jordan Brand to switch things up on us once these official get unveiled. Speculation on them being Marvin The Martian inspired is warranted due to the color hues and actually make more sense than the ‘Barcelona Nights’.
Another possibility that could work for this new colorway is what if they were inspired by the Monstars. The colors for each of the characters can be found throughout the sneakers.
