While the New Orleans Pelicans let DeMarcus Cousins walk to the Bay Area they did retain another player from last year. According to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports, the Pelicans have re-signed Ian Clark to a one-year deal.
Free agent guard Ian Clark has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the New Orleans Pelicans, league sources tell Yahoo.

New Orleans signed Clark last season to one-year deal after the Warriors let him walk. In Golden State Clark was a much more proficient 3-point shooter, nailing 36.8 percent from behind the arc in his two seasons with the Warriors. Last year with the Pelicans, he hit a poor 31 percent. For a New Orleans team that is looking to play inside out with Anthony Davis, Clark will have to be better from long range.
