The Gonzaga Bulldogs have landed another Top Ten guard in a recruiting class. 2021 recruiting class combo guard Hunter Sallis has officially committed to the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He picked the Bulldogs over the North Carolina Tar Heels, Kentucky Wildcats, Oregon Ducks, Creighton Bluejays, Kansas Jayhawks, UCLA, Bruins, and Iowa State Cyclones. Sallis is projected as a lottery pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, so he is a likely “one and done” prospect. He currently ranks as the best prospect to commit to the Gonzaga Bulldogs. The guard just edged out Jalen Suggs in the rating system.
Five-star guard Hunter Sallis has committed to Gonzaga.
Steadily improved throughout high school – he’s now a top-three point guard in the class.
“Spokane reminds me a lot of Omaha. Not much going except basketball and school. That’s the way I like it,” he told @PaulBiancardi.

The Nebraska native has climbed up the 2021 rankings and only seems to get better the more he plays basketball. Gonzaga is becoming a serious powerhouse both on the court and on the recruiting trail. They are also expected to land 2021’s top-rated recruit Chet Holmgren sometime soon. Head Coach Mark Few has the Bulldogs undefeated in the NCAA Tournament with major reinforcements coming in next year. The Bulldogs may just be at the top of the NCAA for years to come.
Mark Few has never quite gotten the Bulldogs over the hump to a Championship, but he now has the talent to pair with excellent coaching. The NCAA may be staring down the beginning of a new era with a brand new powerhouse leading the way. Hunter Sallis may only be in the NCAA for a single season, but he will have an impact with Mark Few and the Bulldogs.
