The beloved Foamposite will never die. While many feel the over saturation in colorways for the model which includes the One and Pro have caused many fans to look at the sneaker as the middle child in a sense. That has all changed due to the last few releases which has kind of made the shoes desirable again. While we await for future releases that aim towards 2016 in the Dr. Doom, ‘Red/Black’ and this new Carolina pair which apparently won’t be a Pro this time around, things look to be on the up and up for Foams.
Nike took a risk with the ‘Mirror’ Foamposites back during All Star Weekend and with such a positive response that caused for more colorways of that magnitude to surface. Alas that brings us to the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Hologram’. This new adaptation to the its predecessor looks to be less flawed, meaning the ‘Mirror’ pair suffered from material (the mirror) peeling and it didn’t sit well with fans. I mean it wouldn’t sit well for me when I paid for that pair and ended up with ‘Pewter’ foamposites again.
The holiday season is always jam packed with releases and this Black Friday is no different. News of the Air Jordan 8 Retro ‘Aqua’ is set to return on this day and Jordan Brand looks to drop an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG for Cyber Monday, so where does that leave Nike. Well if you guessed by now, this pair will be dropping this Black Friday as well to join the already hyped (warranted) release of the ‘Aqua’ 8.
