Kansas Jayhawks freshman wing Gradey Dick has announced that he has declared for the 2023 NBA Draft. This officially makes the top prospect a “one and done” talent. The sharpshooting Kansas wing has made a name for himself in college and either maintained or improved his draft status after his one year with the program. Dick is expected to be a lottery pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. While the Jayhawks season ended well before they hoped, Dick did help lead the team to a number one seed in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

In his sole season with the Kansas Jayhawks, Gradey Dick averaged 14.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 44.2 percent and a three-point percentage of 40.3 percent. Shooting threes has dominated the NBA in recent years and there is nothing that Dick does better on the court. At Kansas he also showcased some solid athleticism and some defensive ability. The right NBA team could turn him into an every night starter with the right amount of work. The expectation is that Dick will be a lottery pick and perhaps even a top ten pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
