It was quite a night for the Milwaukee Bucks as an organization, taking home several of the yearly accolades. But the most important one was saved for last. Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo received the most-coveted hardware in the 2019 NBA MVP award.

Antetokounmpo had some stiff competition in James Harden, the reigning NBA MVP. Ultimately, Antetokounmpo put together a more complete season with 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game. He also averaged 1.5 blocks per contest and proved to be an elite defensive player once again.
Milwaukee had a heck of a night with General Manager Jon Horst being named Executive of the Year and Mike Budenholzer taking home Coach of the Year. Antetokounmpo winning MVP is icing on the cake, despite not being able to make it to the NBA Finals. Oh well, at least we got a very pertinent blooper:
