Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!
Well for those who grew up on the original Ghostbusters is probably wondering where are the boys? Well with this new Ghostbusters reboot from Columbia, a Sony Pictures Entertainment company, the cast gets reworked and we get four new characters. Not only four new characters but they are all women. Yes you read correctly but you should have already known this when the news made headlines of a reboot. Personally I am intrigued as to what we will be getting from the four ladies and we don’t have to wait any longer. We now have the official first trailer of the ‘Ghostbusters’.
As we immediately find out the reboot takes place 30 years later from when we last left off and with a new team looking to answer the call, our leading ladies; Erin Gilbert (expert at quantum physics), Abby Yates (expert in paranormal activity), Jillian Holtzmann (engineer) and Patty Tolan are played by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon & Leslie Jones. Not to mention Chris Hemsworth stars in the film as well as Kevin.
It is certainly refreshing to see a Ghostbusters reboot simply because in this modern day of film the capabilities are endless and when you factor in all the wacky gadgets and technology our heroes will be using, we look to be in for a wild ride. At the moment the extent of the plot is unknown but there is someone responsible for amplifying the paranormal activity that ends up plaguing New York City.
