“Do not let these people misguide you all on this b*llsh*t. This was just yesterday, moments before me and my child’s mother had [an] argument. [I was] watching Frozen with my oldest daughter. I never put my hands on my child’s mother or my f*cking daughter. Are you f*cking crazy? I’m not a monster. I [have] been quiet for too long. I don’t have [a] media team, [publicist], good lawyer [or] spokesperson. [I don’t have any of] that,” Davis wrote.
“I [have] been doing this sh*t on my own since I started this sh*t. These people have put so much stuff and aired this everywhere. [I have] a f*cking helicopter flying over my house now as I write this [because] they look at this sh*t as money to them and they [are] trying to get as much money as possible. They rush to my child’s mother [and] offer her $50,000 just to press charges.”
Despite the charges levied against Davis, he is expected to appear in Washington, D.C. On January 7, he is scheduled to defend his WBA “Regular” Lightweight Championship against Héctor Garcia at Capital One Arena. Showtime nor Premiere Boxing Champions have indicated that the bout will be postponed.
