The trade deadline started strong with the Orlando Magic trading most of their experienced players, but the other teams in the league are making their moves. In the case of the Philadelphia 76ers, they acquired veteran guard George Hill in a three-team trade, according to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will receive Tony Bradley, and two future second-round picks in 2025 and 2026. The third part of the trade involves the New York Knicks that are sending Austin Rivers to the Thunder in exchange for Ferguson.

Hill was traded to the Thunder during the offseason as a part of the four-team trade in which the Milwaukee Bucks acquired Jrue Holiday.
Hill only played in 14 games at the start of the season before an injury to a thumb in his shooting hand sidelined him for more than 8 weeks. In the few games he played, he averaged 11.8 points and 3.1 assists in 26.4 minutes per game while shooting 38.6% from the three-point line.
The Sixers add a much-needed ball handler that relieves Simmons from the responsibility and lets him play more time off the ball. Sixers were in talks to acquire Kyle Lowry for the same purposes but couldn’t reach an agreement according to Keith Pompey from the Philadelphia Inquirer.
In the end, they get what they were looking for in a point guard but it’s still unknown when Hill will return from his injury.
