
NBC’s new streaming service, Peacock, will act as the home of the first two seasons of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot. The dramatic reboot will be led by Smith and television newcomer, Morgan Cooper. Cooper first caught Smith’s attention when he made a trailer for the series back in 2019. The two met up and decided to move forward with the project. Alongside Cooper and Smith, original executive producers like Quincy Jones, Benny Medina, Andy Borowitz and Susan Borowitz will also return.
HBO Max is also working on bringing together the original cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for an unscripted reunion special. The cast is set to tape the special later this week. HBO Max hopes to air the special during November.
