Head Coach Rick Barnes and the Tennessee Volunteers have picked up the commitment of 2023 four-star recruit Freddie Dilione. While not a likely “one and done” talent, he is a top 100 recruit and should provide an impact on the roster as a freshman. He committed to the Tennessee Volunteers over the Alabama Crimson Tide, VCU Rams, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and Virginia Cavaliers. Rick Barnes has highlighted himself as a top recruiter and also excels at getting the most out of those players. If all goes well he may even help Dilione get to the NBA one day.
ESPN 100 guard Freddie Dilione is off the board to Tennessee. Really like this pickup for the Vols. Dilione was one of the best scorers I saw all of July. Scores it from all three levels, plays with a lot of confidence on the offensive end. Second top-100 commit for Rick Barnes.

Freddie Dilione is currently ranked as the 87th best player and 16th combo guard in the 2023 recruiting class. The Raleigh, North Carolina guard is trending upward in the class and could continue to rise in the class with the right performances on the court. He is the second player in the 2023 class to join the Tennessee Volunteers, joining top 100 player and top20 power forward Cade Phillips.

The Tennessee Volunteers under Head Coach Rick Barnes have been established as a top program in the SEC. Landing talented four-star recruits like Freddie Dilione is vital to continue that success. The team is looking to continue winning in the SEC and perhaps compete for an NCAA Championship.
