December is the month to make a statement in music, sports and entertainment. In music, fans are awaiting the release of albums from A Boogie, Gucci Mane and more. In film, movie goers are patiently awaiting the release of Aquaman as well as new trailers from Marvel. Sports are no different. College football’s bowl season is on the horizon. Not to mention, there are big announcements to be made in the world of fashion. First on the list is Foot Locker. Just in time for your holiday wish list, Foot Locker has announced its list of December drops from Nike.
To celebrate the end of the year, Foot Locker will be bringing in Nike’s “Home & Away” collection, which features Nike Air Max 95, Air Force Low, Air Force 1 Hi and Nike Air Max Plus/97. Making the release that much more special, each of the sneakers in the “Home & Away” collection will feature colorways to celebrate the vivacious sneaker communities of Atlanta, Miami and Houston. In addition, Foot Locker will be teaming up with Maxo Kream to host a series of giveback moments in his hometown of Houston. The “Home” shoes in this collection will be released this Thursday, December 6th. Soon thereafter, the “Away” sneakers will be released in home cities, select markets and online on December 22nd. With that being said, the good times won’t stop with the “Home & Away” collection.
In addition to the “Home & Away” collection, Foot Locker will be releasing an extension of the “Discover Your Air” campaign. This special campaign will also feature the 20th anniversary of the tuned air silhouette. If that doesn’t make fans happy, Foot Locker topped all of these surprises off by letting sneaker heads know that have even more new releases on the way. As stated in their latest press release, “the Nike Air Max Plus “Greedy” in Fire/Blue will be available in-store and online on Saturday, Dec. 8, followed by the Nike Air Max Plus OG Purple on Saturday, Dec. 15 and the Nike Air Max Plus OG Hyper Blue on Saturday, Dec. 22.”
