NBA Picks 2/14/22
We had three perfect 3-0 nights last week. We relied heavily on favorites against overmatched underdogs. Let’s take a look at tonight’s slate for the NBA Picks 2/14/22 and see if that was a blip or a trend worth monitoring as the All-Star break approaches.
Sacramento Kings at Brooklyn Nets (+3) 7:40 p.m EST
What happens when an unstoppable freight train of incompetence meets an unmovable wall of dysfunction? We are going to find out tonight as these two franchises face off. Because Domantas Sabonis is playing and Kyrie Irving is not, the pick seems pretty obvious.
Pick: Sacramento Kings -3 (-110 via DraftKings)
Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers (+6) 10:40 p.m EST
The Warriors haven’t looked like themselves lately but the rest of the slate is tough. The Spurs and Bulls game is a toss-up with Lavine out with a knee injury. We would love to fade the Wizards but that would involve betting actual money on the Pistons. No thank you. Yes, the Warriors have hurt us recently but they are too good a team to go on the black list.
Pick: Golden State Warriors -6 (-110 via DraftKings)
Toronto Raptors at New Orleans Pelicans (+4.5) 8:10 p.m EST
CJ McCollum provided the Pelicans with an instant scoring punch after scoring 36 points in his post-trade debut. The issue, however, was the defense. New Orleans gave up 124 to the Spurs and lost despite McCollum’s big night. I think the Raptors pick the Pelicans’ defense apart.
