Familia Skateshop located out in Minneapolis, Minnesota is embarking on their 10 year anniversary. Seems as if there has been a load of anniversaries this year and what better way to celebrate than by collaborating on a sneaker? Well to do so the skateshop is teaming up with Nike Skateboarding for this upcoming Familia x Nike SB Dunk High ‘BlueOx’.
The inspiration behind the collaboration is the fictional story of Paul Bunyan and Babe The Blue Ox. As you can see on the upper the majority of the color hue belongs to the blue suede and on the inner is that plaid, lumberjack red/black design which is a nod to Paul Bunyan.
Also another nice touch is the yellow check which transforms into horns.
As of right now it stands that these are expected to hit retailers this June 27, 2015. Check out the detailed pictures below and we will keep you guys updated throughout the upcoming days on any release details. Let us know down in the comments if these will be a DEF Cop or DEF Not.
