The Chip Kelly cleansing continues to take place in Philadelphia. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has shipped out another former Chip Kelly draft selection in Eric Rowe. The Patriots will be sending a conditional 4th round pick to Philly in exchange for his services. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport had more information.
The #Patriots traded for #Eagles DB Eric Rowe in exchange for OL Josh Kline and a 4th rounder in 2018 that can become a third, source said.

More details on the #Eagles/#Patriots trade: The 4th rounder in ’18 can become a 3rd based on Eric Rowe’s playtime in 2016 or 2017

As you can see Josh Kline was initially involved in the trade but was later removed from the deal. Since then Kline has been released by New England. For the Patriots this continues to give them more cornerback depth. Rowe can also play safety as well in case of injuries. Rowe, the former 2015 2nd round pick, is likely worth the gamble after his up and down rookie season a year ago.
For the Eagles this rebuild has been an on going process. After a multitude of trades in the offseason Philly also dealt starting quarterback Sam Bradford just a few days ago. Roseman’s motivation for the deal was to obviously get his picks back after dealing them for hopeful franchise quarterback Carson Wentz.
