While his stint with adidas Basketball/Hoops was since his rookie year, Dwight Howard signature shoes haven’t seen that much success as far as I know and being a previous associate at a sneaker store I can attest to that. Earlier this year, D12 had the blogs buzzing that he would be joining Jordan Brand considering he showed up to the arena wearing a pair of ‘Chicago’ 1s.
Well according to Sports Pro Media it has been confirmed by Chinese brand Peak that Howard will be joining their roster of signature athletes. His contract expired at the end of this 2014/2015 season with adidas.
Due to Dwight moving from Orlando to Los Angeles and then Houston the brand obviously took the time out to focus on other athletes as well as other sneakers.
What do you guys think of this news of Dwight Howard signing with Peak. It is no secret that the China market show the U.S. players an extremely amount of love, just look at the success DWade has received since leaving Jordan Brand.
