The abundance of ‘Independence Day’ or ‘4th of July’ inspired colorways for various silhouettes are apparently at an all time high this year. It looks like the folks at DTLR are teaming up with Ewing Athletics to deliver this Star Spangled Banner-esque DTLR x Ewing Star Focus.

DTLR and Ewing Athletics are teaming up this summer to bring you the limited-edition Ewing Star Focus. Basketball superstar Patrick Ewing donned the first pair of Ewing Focus in 1993. Two decades later, the Ewing Focus Retro has quickly captivated the market and DTLR is excited to be a part of it.
Red, white, and blue are proudly displayed throughout the shoe’s three-part leather, suede, and nubuck upper. The signature Ewing ankle strap in royal blue features the word Focus in bold white stitching while a series of stars have been added on the sides to complete the American look. One of the shoe’s most unique features is located on the heel. Both adorned with Ewing’s signature 33, the right heel sports the Hall-of-Famer’s name while the left bears a bold American flag decal.
Celebrate the 4th of July in style this year with DTLR and Ewing Athletics. Exclusively available at DTLR retail stores and dtlr.com, the DTLR and Ewing Star Focus is set to release June 26, 2015.
The shoe will also be available in Grade School sizes.
