Arizona State Sun Devils Senior Guard DJ Horne has announced he has transferred to the North Carolina State Wolfpack for next season. The Raleigh native will head back to his home state and city to play one final season of college basketball. Horne will take advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted to players due to the impact that the Coronavirus had on the 2020-21 college basketball season. Horne has been an excellent player for the Sun Devils, and should be a key contributor for the Wolfpack next season.

This past season as a senior for the Arizona State Sun Devils, DJ Horne averaged 12.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 36.9 percent and a three-point percentage of 35.5 percent. The Wolfpack had a great season this past year but has some talent that is leaving the program for one reason or another. Horne should help them reload and attempt to continue to build a much better program in the ACC. More will factor in, but this is a great addition to the roster and it will mean a lot to Horne to play at home next season.
