Few people have ascended into the limelight over the last few years quite like DJ Drama has. Yes, the Philadelphia native was a legend prior to the 2020s with the success of his iconic Gangsta Grillz mixtape series and various collaborations, but things have changed in recent years for DJ Drama. Most notably, he hosted Tyler, The Creator’s Call Me If You Get Lost and won a Grammy Award. Alongside Don Cannon and company, he’s led Generation Now to new heights with the success of Lil’ Uzi Vert and Jack Harlow. He also brought out Lil’ Wayne and T.I. for his most recent stop at Dreamville Festival in North Carolina. Not to be forgotten, he’s also teamed up with rising acts like Symba and Mozzy to develop their own entries into the Gangsta Grillz series. Now, he’s circling back to deliver his latest LP, I’m Really Like That.
DJ Drama has done it yet again and delivered a star-studded album. This time around, the legendary DJ has recruited Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Roddy Ricch, Gucci Mane, Lil’ Wayne, Benny The Butcher and many others for I’m Really Like That. He also reunited with Tyler, The Creator on “Legendary” and brought Jack Harlow along for the ride. To top it all off, the project includes the previously released single, “I Ain’t Gon Hold Ya,” with Jeezy.
DJ Drama adds to an exciting release weekend. In addition to I’m Really Like That, Chlöe’s In Pieces and Larry June’s The Great Escape will arrive in your preferred streaming app. For the time being, start your weekend off with I’m Really Like That.
