Dreamville Festival is set to return to North Carolina this April. Headlining the first night, Usher will take the stage in the Tar Heel state. The Atlanta native has said that he’s gearing up to release new music and start a new label with LA Reid in the near future.
“His system is what created that expectation for me, as a young artist,” Usher told GQ.
“So now, damn near 25 or some odd years later, we feel inspired to go out and create more artists.”
Usher will not take the stage alone. During the festival’s opening day, Lil’ Durk, Ari Lennox, Sean Paul, EarthGang, Jessie Reyez, Key Glock, Lute and Omen. Rising stars Marqus Clae and Victony will also perform.
Have you ever seen “In The Morning” or “Jodeci Freestyle” performed live in front of thousands of people? Well, several fans will have the ability to see that happen this spring. Drake and J. Cole will headline the final night of the Dreamville Festival. The two legendary acts will be joined by Summer Walker, J.I.D, GloRilla, Bas, Waka Flocka Flame, Mario, Ayra Starr, Baby Tate, Cozz, Reuben Vincent and Jordan Ward. Not to mention, Burna Boy is set to take the stage as well.
