Few are slicker with their word choice than the 615’s own Brian Brown. Whether he’s on stage at DRKMTTR talking about how it’s snowing outside because he’s a cold n*gga or he’s rapping about how his flow is smoother than the plastic at your grandma’s house, the Nashville native plays around with syllables and sounds in a way that’s hard to articulate. As it turns out, he’s just as smooth on the diamond. In the newly-released “Trillville” video, Brian Brown takes on Reaux Marquez in a game that goes down to the wire. In between pitches and outs, he still finds time to rap over the anthemic production.
“That’s why I talk the way I talk. They don’t make ’em like me no more. As a matter of fact, what did Wayne say? They never made ’em like me before,” he raps.
“I’m rare like Mr. Clean with hair. ”
As previously reported, the wordsmith of the 615 will take part in this year’s Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee on June 2-4, 2023. There, he will grace the same stage as the legendary Antwan Patton, better known as Big Boi. Unfortunately, June is still quite a few months away, so Brian Brown’s “Trillville” video will keep you occupied until then.
