DJ Drama has teamed up with the good folks over at Dreamville for a surprise release known as D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape. The 15-track project includes contributions from J. Cole, Ari Lennox, JID, Bas, Earthgang, Omen, Cozz and Lute. TDE’s own Reason, Kenny Mason, 2 Chainz, G Perico and Young Nudy also appear on the Gangsta Grillz mixtape.
The release of the latest Dreamville compilation sets the stage for the 2022 Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina this weekend. The two-day festival will include performances from Lil’ Baby, JID, Ari Lennox, T-Pain, BLXST, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Moneybagg Yo and more. Also, DJ Drama is scheduled to put together a set featuring some of the greatest Gangsta Grillz cuts from Lil’ Wayne, Jeezy and T.I. To top it all off, Wiz Khalifa is set to deliver a full performance of his classic mixtape, Kush & Orange Juice.
