
The Cleveland Browns have reached an agreement with Denzel Ward for a five-year contract extension worth $100.5 million with $71.25 million guaranteed, according to Adam Schefter from ESPN.
The deal makes him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history and ties him to Cleveland until 2027.

Ward is also the second cornerback that signs a $100 million deal after the Rams’ defensive star Jalen Ramsey and even beats him by a little.

Ward, drafted as the fourth pick overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, has been one of the most consistent players in the Brown’s defense. In his four seasons, he has grabbed 10 interceptions and returned two of them to the opponent’s end zone. He has also piled up 186 tackles and 4 Quarterback hits.
