The spirit of Stuart Scott lives on in the NBA. We first witnessed Kevin Durant keep Scott’s legacy alive by rocking a pair of Nike KD 6’s with his most notable quote ‘Booyah’ as well as ‘R.I.P The Late Great Stuart Scott’.
Well the San Antonio Spurs sharp shooter, Danny Green took the same approach but this time with a more custom look. Linking up with Dank Customs, Green took to the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 8 to pay his respects to Stuart Scott. Keeping the silhouette mostly San Antonio Spurs colors there is a slight shade of UNC blue on the back which is a nod to the fact Scott and Green both have UNC as an Alma Mater.
The stand out is the back of the sneakers actually, on the left shoe it says ‘STU’ and on the right shoe ‘Booyah’ which is Stuart Scott most notable catch phrase.
Danny wore them actually in his game when the Spurs took on the Denver Nuggets (1/20/15).
