Daniel Daley of dvsn shared some promising news for R&B fans on the latest episode of the Rory & Mal Show. At the 90-minute mark of the episode, Rory calls up Daley to discuss the duo’s newest collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign and Mac Miller. After joking about the “toxic” nature of the new song, the R&B singer-songwriter noted that a new project with Ty Dolla $ign is coming “soon.”
“Is there much you can tell us about the record that you, Nineteen85 and Ty Dolla $ign are putting together?” Rory asked.
“It’s definitely [dropping] soon and I don’t mean that in the way that artists usually [say something is coming] ‘soon.’ The project is done. I’ll tell you that. We’re finished. We’re mixing it and just getting a few last thing pieces together.”
Ty Dolla $ign and dvsn last worked together on “Dangerous City” from A Muse In Her Feelings. This summer, they’ll look to expand on the sound that they created with that special record.
