October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. “The pink ribbon represents fear of breast cancer, hope for the future and charitable goodness of people and businesses who support the breast cancer movement. It is intended to evoke solidarity with women who currently have breast cancer.”
One of those notable businesses who are supportive of the Breast Cancer Awareness is Nike. Nike adopted a notable figure by the name of Sandra Kay Yow (RIP; who loss her life to the disease) and formed the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Which is why we are here today folks…
Through out the years Nike contributes apparel as well as footwear that shows their support to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund as well as Breast Cancer Awareness. So we felt it was appropriate to compose what we felt were the top 10 “THINK PINK” / “Kay Yow” inspired sneakers.
