This year was probably the year Nike saw an increase in the hype behind(well sales) as well in their Nike Basketball Christmas Collection. In 2012, the Nike LeBron X saw a creative standpoint that took its inspiration from the “Diamond” also being the 10th signature shoe so we saw many releases geared towards that. The Kobe 8 System was a sneaker that was constructed for Kobe’s speed and precision as well as taking inspiration from varies snakes. Now for KD; Nike KD V this shoe was his first as a high top which wasn’t to many sneaker heads liking but Durant’s most technically advanced shoe to date, featuring the combination of Nike Zoom (forefoot) and Nike Air (heel) cushioning along with Hyperfuse upper and dynamic heel support.
