Moving on. 2011 is the year we saw possibly the best of the best concerning the Nike Basketball Christmas Day collection. This time around KD and his signature line Nike KD IV were just beginning to be in a state where fans would ultimately agree to be his best shoe ever. The Nike LeBron IX arguably one of LeBrons best silhouettes to date and the Kobe VII which as well one of Kobes best.
This year saw the first time Nike put a lot of detailing into each of the NBA stars Christmas Day footwear.
Nike Zoom Kobe VII System “Attack Fast”
– Kobe Bryant will push the boundaries by wearing a purple and lime green version of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII System (Attack Fast) with special graphics representing the speed of the leopard with red laces.

Nike LeBron IX “Christmas”
– LeBron James goes a bit more traditional with a red upper, white midsole (speckled) and green laces.

– Kevin Durant will wear a metalized-effect version of the Nike Zoom KD IV inspired by copper cookie cutters.

From this Christmas Day collection I would have to say the KD IV’s are my favorite. I wish I was able to get my hands on a pair, I slept on them. The Kobe’s would be my second favorite.
