2010 Nike Basketball Christmas Day Collection “Signal Your Color”
Lets fast forward now to 2010 where Nike officially introduced the Nike Basketball Christmas Collection as a whole for three of the biggest stars; LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant. This year LeBron was sporting the second edition to his signature shoe; Nike LeBron 8 V2, KD in the Nike KD III and Kobe Bryant in the Nike Kobe VI. Nike also made it to where this year Christmas collection had a respective representation for each of the players.
Each colorway is designated a special tag-line with the primary message being that of forward progress;
LeBron 8 v.2 Christmas Day “Run On Red”
-Sport Red/White-Black
Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Grinch”/”Christmas” – “Green Means Go”
-Volt/Black-Green Apple-Crimson
The KD III Christmas Day “No Yield For Yellow”
-Vibrant Yellow/Photo Blue
Other details of the KD III signature shoe include five lightening bolts on the outsole to represent his team, piano keys near the heel and midfoot of the outsole representing KD’s love of music and the BF62 repeat pattern on the outsole is a nod to the game where KD put up 62 points at Barry Farms in his home town of DC.

From this particular collection I would have to say the LeBron 8 V2 is my favorite even though now I am on the hunt for the KD III’s.
